Feb. 10th, 2006 01:53 pmThe good: I'm working at a well-paying temp gig at the Chelsea Market, one of my favorite places in NYC (gotta love that stone-furniture-meets-waterfall aesthetic). The last time I worked here, it was at a printing company that's since gone out of business; I was on the lobster shift (midnight- 8 am), and getting home involved stumbling past far too many commuters headed in the opposite direction. Nice to be working here again- and on sane hours, too.
The bad: That printing company? The company that's replacing them is apparently doing some large-scale redecorating/reshaping of the space; this involves loud drilling going on, all day long.
